FACILITY TECHNICAL AUDIT

An objective basis for operating decisions

We survey the engineering systems, record their actual condition and provide the client with a structured technical report.

01 / PURPOSE

A working engineering document, not a presentation

The audit scope is agreed before the visit and depends on the building use, floor area, equipment, access conditions and available documentation.

02 / PROCESS

Audit process

01

Define the scope

We agree the systems and areas to be surveyed, source documentation, access conditions and final deliverables.

02

Survey

We inspect equipment, record available operating parameters and complete the checks included in the agreed audit programme.

03

Assessment

We compare the actual condition with the documentation and assessment criteria, then prepare the technical observations register.

04

Deliver the findings

The client receives a report, information on inspected equipment, priorities and next actions. A full register is included only when specified in the programme.

Supply and extract ventilation equipment

03 / SCOPE

What is surveyed

The final list is defined by the agreed boundaries of the facility.

  • VRV/VRF, chillers and fan-coil units
  • Supply and extract ventilation
  • Heating and heat interface units
  • Electrical supply and distribution
  • Water supply and drainage
  • Low-voltage and access-control systemsTemporarily unavailable
  • Operating documentation

Low-voltage and access-control systems are temporarily excluded from the audit and price calculation.

04 / DELIVERABLE

Technical report package

The deliverable is structured to support work planning, operating procedures and contractor work packages.

01

Executive summary

Scope, principal findings and priorities without unnecessary technical detail.

02

Equipment information

Inspected items, their location and condition. A full inventory and detailed register are separately included in an extended programme.

03

Photographic records and observations

Each observation is linked to an item or area with its technical basis.

04

Prioritised action plan

A sequence of immediate, planned and monitored actions.

Facility information is handled confidentially

Design documents, photographs and survey findings are used to prepare the report and are not published without the client’s separate approval.

05 / ESTIMATE

Get a preliminary audit cost estimate

The calculator considers facility type and area. A fixed price is stated after the survey scope has been agreed.

The parameters provide a budget indication before the technical scope of work is agreed.

Base technical survey

Inspection of accessible equipment, review of supplied documents, photographic records and a structured report. A full inventory and extended instrumental measurements are agreed separately.

  • Air conditioningIncluded in the base survey
  • HeatingIncluded in the base survey
  • VentilationIncluded in the base survey
  • Electrical systemsIncluded in the base survey
  • Water supplyIncluded in the base survey
  • Low-voltage / Access control
  • DrainageIncluded in the base survey

Low-voltage and access-control systems are temporarily excluded from the audit and price calculation.

Preliminary budget

The fixed price is confirmed after the survey boundaries, access conditions and source documentation have been agreed.
